What to Expect at Your First Orangetheory Fitness Class

Arrive at least 30 minutes early for your first Orangetheory class for an opportunity to meet with your coach to discuss your goals and journey. Your coach will walk you through what the day’s class entails, teach you the Orangetheory lingo and help you with any modifications to make sure you get the most out of your workout. The combination of the treadmill, rower and floor exercises promises a full body cardio and strength training workout every time, but you’ll never do the same exact workout twice. It’s your choice whether you want to walk, run or jog on the treadmill, or even bike instead — our fitness program is for all levels and your coach can help customize it to you. We will loan you one of our OTbeat heart rate monitors and sync it to your heartbeat so you can see in real time how many calories you’ve burned, how many steps you’ve taken and how many Splat points you’ve earned in the Orange Zone.
