This interesting lecture from 1961 was originally titled, “The View from Buddha’s Head: the Zen Gospel of Self-Realization”, and offers up lessons from the East that can be applied to anyone in the West. At this time period, Hall was making trips to Japan and wrote extensively about Zen and the quiet, contemplative spiritual practices of the East.
