Attendees of the Virchow Foundation for Global Health will be Foundation President and Co-Founder, Professor Gerald H. Haug as well as Co-Founders Dr. h.c. mult. Friede Springer, Roland Göhde and Professor Detlev Ganten.
Awarded for the second time, the international Virchow Prize for Global Health is endowed with €500,000 and honours outstanding lifetime achievements towards ‘health for all’.
The 2023 laureate will be honoured and celebrated on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Rotes Rathaus Berlin (Berlin City Hall), held under the High Patronage of Bärbel Bas, President of the German Parliament.
